Humanly Divine is a blog meant to encourage us to push past our current edges, to see new possibilities and paradigms and to open ourselves up to the continued expansion and evolution of our consciousness.
I plan to share things that are potentially relevant for many of us. This could come in many forms from writing about information I’ve learned to sharing personal experiences or writings from others to putting together brief videos. My intention is to share openly and honestly, to make myself vulnerable and to encourage others to do the same through leading by example. Our patriarchal, shame-based culture discourages vulnerability; however, it’s my belief that true intimacy, growth and mutual understanding come from digging deep down into the places where we feel fear and shame and having the courage to share with each other from those dark, lost places.
There are no topics off limits in Humanly Divine. From the practical and mundane to the esoteric, if it can encourage expansion or serve in some way, you may find it here.
Humanly Divine is intended to be a safe space to share, explore, and connect. I welcome and encourage beliefs that are different from my own. At times, you may be triggered by what I write. When this happens, I encourage you to explore why you’re triggered and if there is something valuable to learn from it. I invite you to challenge me since this helps me clarify my own understandings; however, please be sure your comments are appropriate, kind and respectful. Inappropriate, rude and/or hurtful comments that do not further a discussion will be deleted immediately.
Lastly, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time! Like all of you, I am on a journey and continue to grow in both my intellectual and experiential understandings. The more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know much about anything! I write not only to connect with you but as a way to process and integrate my learning and to clarify my understanding, which continually expands as I evolve.
At times I think of my life as a huge jigsaw puzzle that I’ve been putting together one piece at a time since birth. I get wildly excited when I discover missing pieces that help to bring large sections of the puzzle into view and allow me to see more of the whole. I invite you to help me with this puzzle so we can journey together to wholeness!
